How can I prevent the crank or pedal from scraping the ground when cornering?

To prevent the pedal or crank from scraping the ground when cornering, there is one simple basic rule:

Always position the inner crank arm, including the pedal, in the 12 o’clock position – that is, right at the top. Stop pedalling until you have passed the apex of the bend and the e-bike is upright again.

If you prefer a more aggressive riding style or frequently ride off-road, we recommend the GX option, whose suspension fork offers more travel. This raises the bottom bracket slightly and provides even more ground clearance.
