The frame number begins with "WRJ2" (on older bikes also "RM", "CUP", "AVP", "KEP", "6PG" or "PY") and is engraved on the frame of the bike. The position of the engraving can vary depending on the model. It is usually located on the drive side of the bike above the motor (sometimes behind the chainring or pulley).
Other possible positions are
at the bottom of the seat tube, facing backwards
on the underside of the down tube
under the attached battery (Power Pack)
on UBN bikes: on the underside of the chain stay on the drive side
on the Birdy: below the bottom bracket
The frame number can also be found on the white sticker on the frame of your bike (RH/N).
You will also find the frame number
in the e-bike passport at the end of the operating instructions supplied
sometimes on the invoice for your vehicle.
If you cannot find it in these places, your Riese & Müller dealer can provide you with the frame number. They will find the frame number on the dealer invoice or on the Bosch diagnostic report for your bike.
