How is the weight information compiled?

The weight information is always based on the smallest frame of the model including the battery, and fitted with basic equipment. It should be noted that the version of the gears also makes a difference to the weight. A derailleur gear, for instance, is lighter than an Enviolo hub gear. And the bigger battery also weighs more than the smaller one.
