We can well understand that you are eagerly awaiting your new bike and are perhaps annoyed that the delivery date has been postponed.
As you probably know, we produce your bike to order and according to your wishes. This means that you will not receive an ‘off-the-peg’ bike, but a customised model made just for you.
The estimated delivery date, which has been communicated to both your dealer and you on the basis of the bike code associated with your order, has of course been calculated realistically and to the best of our knowledge.
However, since both the punctual production and the arrival of the bike at your dealer also depend on factors over which we have no direct influence, it may sometimes be necessary to adjust the estimated delivery date - both forwards and backwards - despite forward planning.
Reasons for this can be, for example, delivery delays at our suppliers, rescheduling by our transport service provider, a dealer's inability to take delivery or, in the case of market launches, a delayed start of series production.
For this reason, we always add the word ‘expected’ to the dates. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee compliance with the deadline or compensation in the event of non-compliance.
Your specialist dealer can answer detailed questions about delivery delays. They will be informed transparently once a week about the reasons for any delays in delivery.
We assure you that it was never our intention to test your patience and that we will always do our utmost to have your bike ready as soon as possible.
