Things to know about the use of disc brakes on pedelecs

Hydraulic disc brakes have become standard on high-quality bicycles and pedelecs over the last decade, including (with a few exceptions) on Riese & Müller bikes.

They combine high braking power with good modulation and low manual force for safe stopping.

They are reliable and not very demanding components. However, certain usage instructions must be observed to ensure that they function properly and remain fun to use.
