When the bike is switched on, it takes a little longer to set the first GPS location, because the RX chip wakes up from its energy-saving mode. It is therefore advisable to wait outside for one to two minutes before setting off on a tour. This ensures that the tour is recorded right from the start. The same applies if the RX Chip calculates the total distance at the end of the tour. If you take the bike into a building immediately, GPS reception will drop and the tour may be shorter because the final GPS location could not be set.
