The RX chip continuously records data to ensure maximum security. However, it stops recording rides as soon as the chip detects that the average speed exceeds 40 km/h.
As the chip continues to record data and operates at a high transmission frequency due to the speed of the vehicle, long journeys on the car transporter can cause the chip’s battery to drain faster than usual.
The chip will recharge automatically during the next ride (see also How can I recharge my RX chip’s battery?)
