As soon as your bike has arrived at your Riese & Müller dealer, has been set up ready to ride, and has undergone a detailed final inspection, your dealer will contact you to arrange a handover appointment.
At the time of handover you will be given your bike along with the relevant documentation. The workings of the bike will be explained in detail to you, and components, such as the saddle, suspension and damper elements, and possibly the stem, will be adjusted to your needs. You will find a detailed handover report in the general owner’s manual (on page 46) supplied with your bike.
This owner’s manual also includes your E-Bike Logbook (page 47), which is filled out during the handover, and provides an overview of all the key details about your bike.
Before riding your bike for the first time, please read the section entitled “Before the first ride” (owner’s manual page 12) and test the brakes properly.
Please read the rest of the owner’s manual carefully to ensure that you can enjoy riding your bike for many years to come. Once you have done so, and are familiar with how your bike works, you can set off.
