You really need an RX Service to experience the full potential of your Riese & Müller bike. “RX” stands for Rider Experience. Essentially this means: Riese & Müller offers the service to match any requirement relating to your own e-bike. So the focus is always on riding enjoyment

Your bike needs an RX Chip to book our RX Services. To book an RX Service, simply register your bike in your My Bike account and select your preferred service. If the prerequisites have been met, you will be able to access a series of RX Services.

ConnectCare offers customised service options for every rider: from anti-theft protection with recovery service to fully comprehensive insurance for your Riese & Müller e-bike. With the appropriate tariff option, you will immediately find yourself fast, comfortable and fully covered on the road.

ConnectCare can also be booked for HS bikes.

There are three levels of ConnectCare that include the following:

In the event of theft, your bike can be located and recovered. If your bike cannot be found, is damaged after it has been recovered, or if parts have been stolen, you will receive an e-bike of equal value, a free repair, or the missing spare part replaced.

Whether your e-bike or individual components have been damaged by a fall, accident or environmental influences, like a storm or hail – Europe-wide, 24/7 insurance cover will manage the claim without the need to pay an excess charge. Wear parts, including the battery, are also covered by this comprehensive insurance.

All the features of the ConnectCare Basic option are also included.

The ConnectCare Comfort option offers you comprehensive mobility protection: in the event of a breakdown, we guarantee to cover the costs, including return transport and hotel fees.

It goes without saying that all the features of the ConnectCare Basic and ConnectCare Smart options are also included.

The service provides access to all features of the RX Connect App and also offers comprehensive insurance coverage: from theft protection with replacement service to coverage for wear-and-tear parts or damage from accidents, your e-bike is fully protected.

The following models are eligible for ConnectCare Free: Delite5, Homage5, Superdelite5, Packster2 70 (with RX Chip), Packster2 70 CT, and models from the UBN Line. The bike must not be older than 42 months from the date of purchase.

We offer our ConnectCare Basic International Service for our customers in Austria and Switzerland. The range of services is based on the ConnectCare Basic option and thus includes the recovery service. Locating and recovering the e-bike in the event of a theft will be provided in your selected service area (either Austria or Switzerland).

Should your bike be stolen within the service area, we can usually locate it and recover it by working closely with the police. Should the bike be stolen and then taken abroad, it may not be possible to locate and recover the bike. In this case, you will receive an identical bike as a replacement.

If the bike is stolen in a country other than the service area indicated at the time of booking (regardless of whether it is near the border), we will not be able to offer recovery and replacement, but will try to locate the bike and assist you with its recovery.

When you book a ConnectCare service, you will automatically get access to all ConnectRide features.

ConnectRide is the service that maximises the comfort and convenience of your Connected E-Bike: from anti-theft protection using GPS tracking and a motion alarm, to personal ride statistics. Use the Riese & Müller RX Connect app to access practical functions and services for your e-bike:

The service is available for e-bikes with an RX Chip and is used via the Riese & Müller RX Connect app (iOS/Android). Ideal for riders with a JobRad employee bike or leased bike agreements.

ConnectRide Free is the free ConnectRide service offer. The service provides the rider with access to all features for 1 year: from anti-theft protection using GPS tracking and a motion alarm, to personal riding statistics.

The ConnectCare and ConnectRide contract is concluded for the agreed term and terminates at the end of this term without requiring notice of cancellation. The service can be reordered within 30 days before the term comes to an end. It can also be ordered after the end of the term.

The term is based on the General Terms and Conditions of Sale applicable during the booking period and can therefore vary. Contracts signed in the past can therefore also be automatically renewed and require cancellation. The cancellation period is 4 weeks for ConnectRide and 3 months for ConnectCare.
