My bike with the Bosch smart system is not connecting to the app. What can I do?

  • App Permissions: Ensure that the app has Bluetooth and location permissions.

  • Pairing Mode: Make sure the bike is in pairing mode. For the initial connection to the app, hold down the power button to activate pairing mode. It is active when the top LED on the remote blinks blue.

  • Software Check: Ensure that your Bosch bike’s software is up to date, as outdated software may affect connectivity (see compatibility table).

  • Distance: Stay close to your bike while pairing. The Bluetooth range is limited, and being too far away may interfere with the connection.

  • Background Processes: Other devices or apps using Bluetooth that are running in the background may interfere with the connection. Close these and try again.
