Why am I receiving a reminder to renew my RX service even though I have already made a new booking?

The reminder emails to renew the RX service are sent automatically four and two weeks before the end of the current booking period for contracts that do not renew automatically.

No comparison is made with new bookings that have already been made.

As described in the e-mail, you can simply ignore the reminders if you have already extended your service.
